Where can I get a summer camp job as a counselor?

I want a job for next summer (2009) and I will be 16. I live in Georgia, but am willing to travel to neighboring states. I would love to be a camp counselor, but I don’t know if that is possible for my age. Or I would love to be a junior counselor, but I really do need to get paid. I am willing to give up most of my summer as long as I can make it back in time for school. I will be going into my junior year of high school.

how can I get a work permit during the summer in illinois?

How flexible are companies with summer work hours for first jobs?

My parents want me to get a job this summer, and I’m 15, almost 16. I know I need to get one, and I wouldn’t mind working because I’m paying for half my Greece trip, but there are a lot of things that I want to do or am going to do this summer…and it just feels like I won’t be able to do anything cuz of my job (yes, I know that’s life, but…). =P

How flexible would they be? What would be the maximum I could miss? Any information would be greatly appreciated…thanks ^_^
