Where would be a good place to get a summer internship for Petroleum Engineering?

I go to CSM and my GPA is average. I was wondering where would be a good place to try to find a summer internship? I am majoring in Petroleum Engineering with maybe a minor in geology or economics don’t really know yet.

    Try the oil sands companies in Canada.

    Many oil & gas companies recruit from CSM for summer internships each fall & spring. However, your GPA might present a problem with some companies. Be sure to check with the CSM career guidance office for possible times of interviews as some of those may have already taken place.
