I may be volunteering at a hospital during the summer?

   The hospital is going to control where it lets people volunteer. You may not get to work in your desired area but I am pretty sure anykind of volunteer work would look good on a college app or job resume.

   Depends on what you want to do. If you intend to be a physician, nurse, technician, or any position that requires interaction with patients, it makes sense to be on the floor. If you want to be a pharmacist, go volunteer in the pharmacy.

   the hospital is going to put you where they need you. you most likely wont choose where you go.
